What do i need?
- JENAN® large eggs - 2 (use only egg white)
- JENAN® all-purpose flour - 1½ cups
- JENAN® white oats - 1 cup
- Whole chicken - 1 (2 breasts, 2 thighs
- 2 drumsticks and 2 wings)
- Oil - 8 cups
- Brown sugar - 1 tbsp
- Salt - 1 tbsp
- Spices
- Red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
- Black pepper - 1 tsp
- Salt - ½ tsp
- Garlic powder - ½ tsp
- All spices powder - ½ tsp (Optional)
- Dried basil - ½ tsp
How do i prepare it?
- Heat oil in a deep bottom pan. Thoroughly mix together all the spice mix ingredients and combine Jenan flour, brown sugar and salt. Dip chicken pieces in lightly whipped Jenan egg white to coat, then transfer to flour mixture. Turn a few times. Again dip in egg white and roll it in Jenan oats. Make sure the oats are really stuck to the chicken. Let the chicken pieces rest for 5 minutes, so that the crust is slightly dry. Fry chicken in batches. After frying remove and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
